Chicago Pickup Co is a manufacturer of electric guitar pickups. We make them by hand in a small workshop on modern equipment that has been tuned to perfection, and vintage PAF winders that can wrap a little magic around pole pieces.

We are not recreating 60 year old gear – just out to do whatever it takes to capture jaw-dropping tone to share with the rest of the world. We research materials and configurations relentlessly and play until our ears hurt. When we hear something that gives us goose bumps and leaves us speechless, we figure out how to replicate. 

Every pickup we produce is tested and played through a real guitar and amp before we decide it's ready to ship. Winding pickups is meticulous and unforgiving. If it's not brilliant, it's not packaged.
